About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website and the MIC Property portal, run by M.I.C Property Turnkey Projects Company Ltd. (“MIC Property”, “we”, “us”). By using them you agree to these terms. If you buy or rent a property from us, your sale or tenancy agreement also applies; if it conflicts with these terms, the agreement takes priority.
Your account
- Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password private, and use two-factor authentication where possible. Staff accounts created by invitation must use it.
- Tell us straight away at info@micpropertyco.com if you think someone else has used your account.
- We may suspend an account that is used in breach of these terms or to protect you or others.
Property listings
We work to keep listings accurate, but descriptions, sizes, prices and availability can change and are for guidance only. Photos may include representative images. A listing is not an offer: please confirm every detail during an inspection and in your written agreement before you commit.
Inspections
An inspection request is not confirmed until our team contacts you to agree a date and time.
Payment plans and payments
- Your price, deposit, instalments, interest and due dates are set out in your payment plan, which you can see in your dashboard.
- Late payment fees apply as set out in your plan: currently 2% of a missed instalment, and after the plan’s end date, 2% of the remaining debt for each month it stays unpaid.
- Payments are applied to your oldest unpaid balance first, including any late fee on it. Amounts paid in advance count towards your next instalments.
- Online payments are processed by Paystack. Paystack’s processing fee is shown and added at checkout, so the full amount you choose is credited to your plan.
- A payment is credited once it has been confirmed by Paystack or, for offline payments, by our finance team.
- Refunds and cancellations are governed by your sale or tenancy agreement.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the website or portal for anything unlawful or fraudulent;
- try to access accounts, data or areas of the portal that aren’t yours;
- interfere with the site’s security or operation, or send spam through our forms.
Our content
The content on this website, including text, photos, logos and design, belongs to MIC Property or our licensors. You may not copy it for commercial use without our permission.
Liability
We provide the website “as is” and don’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and the version in force when you use the site applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and Nigerian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
